Girls Gone Camping includes the perfect mix of instructional and recreational activities. With a light emphasis on fitness programs, various camp activities will be open during the weekend including water sports, land sports, creative arts and other amazing outdoor recreational activities. The weekend will have a laid back, relaxed atmosphere for you to just “chill” on the dock, workout during various optional fitness classes or enjoy regular camp activities.
GGC’s variety of activities will leave you leaving wanting more. Fitness classes will likely include yoga, pilates, pound, boot camp, ballet barre and more… Camp activities could also include kayaking, canoeing, waterskiing, tennis, hiking, arts & crafts, ropes course, climbing wall, culinary arts, and archery to name a few. After a full day of amazing activities, each night will consist of a fun and engaging evening program followed by a beautiful campfire to end each evening. A final group yoga/exercise session will be held Sunday morning before brunch and departure.

Girls Gone Camping is my favourite gift to myself. A weekend away with incredible women to fill my bucket (and my belly), learn, grow and dance the night away. No matter what the weather, Trista, Craig, Margot and the camp staff take care of all the details so it can truly be a much‐needed break. My favourite part of sending the kids back to school is knowing I have GGC to look forward to!

I just LOVE GGC. It is my fave weekend of the year! The camaraderie and friendship is just amazing. The activities are fab, the camp is perfect, food is great, entertainment is always super fun. Silent disco should definitely become a staple for the Friday night! Trista, Craig and Margot do an incredible job putting this together. I'll be going to GGC forever.

This annual event is one of the top highlights of my year! Coming from a smaller northern community, I arrived four years ago knowing not a soul. But within just a few minutes, I made lifelong friends who have embraced and inspired me in my daily life ever since. The laughter, wide variety of activities, amazing food and strong women keep me coming back each Fall.

This provided a great opportunity to reconnect with myself. I slowed down, I laughed, I refocused my energy following my own schedule. Being with other females made me feel proud, proud to see we all put ourselves first for the weekend.

I had an amazing weekend away and can not wait to return. This was the perfect weekend of fun and fitness. The food was fantastic. I met so many amazing women and bumped into one I went to elementary school with but have not seen in years. This is the perfect way to spend time with your girlfriends and just worry about you. No cooking , cleaning or kids calling your name . So fun to relive your summer camp days!
