As a first timer at GGC I would highly recommend it. I am definitely coming back next year. The food and drinks, the variety of activities, the no pressure to do anything you don't want to do, the facilities, the campers/instructors, everything was amazing. It was so well organized.
Girls Gone Camping truly has something for everyone! The rare chance to unplug from your day to day life. For the past 7 years, its been my annual reset and recharge, my New Years eve, and my bucket filler! A joyful weekend at camp, surrounded by nature's beauty, spending time with fabulous women (old and new friends), laughter, learning and love... you really can't ask for anything more.
Girls Gone Camping is a fantastic weekend getaway with your girlfriends! It’s organized so you can really make it whatever you want. If you’re looking for lots of fitness there are all kinds of sessions to choose from (ranging from relaxing yoga to the more intense Pound). Or you can choose to take part in more traditional camping / outdoor activities (hike, kayak, archery, arts & crafts etc). And, of course, there’s the epic Saturday night dance party!!! Rain or shine, you are guaranteed to have fun and make new friends! I’ve been all 5 years and looking forward to the next 5!!
For 7 years I have come back to Girls Gone Camping and it keeps getting better and better. I reconnect with old friends, make new ones, try unique activities, and dance for hours. Such a fun and rejuvenating weekend that I look so forward to every year.
What an experience! Came in with no expectations and left with my mind blown and my heart opened. So grateful for the fun, opportunity to expand and connect with new friends. I fully recommend this camp to anyone on the fence. Come solo, come with friends, you'll leave happier and healthier!
